Last week, director and producers set out to attend a screening of “La Vie Nous Appartient” at the Children and Youths Film Festival in Zlín, in the Czech Republic. We arrived on the opening night of the festival greeted by fireworks, immediately making us feel welcome.
This celebratory atmosphere continued throughout the following day, with the whole city seemingly coming alive like in a folk festival or carnival. Countless activities for children, and live bands on outdoor stages were just some of the things visitors and townspeople alike could indulge in.
The packed cinema we then encountered for our screening only intensified this positive experience. Unfortunately, our main actors couldn’t make the screening, but they are both thrilled by the great response, and send out greetings to everyone.
