We are delighted to announce that starting next month “La Vie Nous Appartient” will be available for school screenings in Finland through KOULUKINO! The KOULUKINO – School Cinema Association offers pupils and teachers the possibility to view a variety of films in a cinema during the school day, with an opportunity for subsequent discussions.
In addition, they offer extensive study materials related to the film – discussion topics, essay questions, exercises, etc. – free of charge. Teachers and educators may already view the offered material, and book a screening for the film (Finnish title: Elämä kuuluu meille) here: La Vie Nous Appartient @ koulukino
Throughout our screenings at various youth film festivals, we noticed that the difficult topic of teen suicide strongly resonates with young audiences. So we really are excited about this opportunity to share our story with Finnish youths. May our protagonists’ journey inspire them to reflect on their own struggles and fears, and offer them a path to self-discovery, hope, and fulfillment.
We would further like to take this opportunity to introduce ISLA SALES, our new distributor in Finland, who has made the school screenings possible and who continue to work tirelessly on giving our movie visibility in Finland and Scandinavia in general.
