Marco F. Zimprich- Director of Photography
Marco Zimprich is a 1995 graduate of the American Film Institute (AFI) in California. He started his career as a camera assistant to Robert Brinkmann for the Columbia Pictures movie Cable Guy, starring Jim Carrey and Matthew Broderick, and as camera operator for Roland Emmerich’s Independence Day. His DP credits include the features PS-T and Work for money, as well as the award winning Austrian nature documentary series Universum and the documentary The Souvenirs of Mr X, winner of the Chicago Silver Plaque Award. In 2008, Marco was nominated for Best Cinematography at the Grand Off Film European Film Awards for his work on the short film Muriendo. Currently, Marco is Chief-DP for the Austrian broadcaster ORF III, and is, among other things, responsible for their cinematographic signations.
