2014 was the year of festivals for LA VIE NOUS APPARTIENT, taking us all around the globe from the U.S. to Armenia, and of course all over Europe. We especially enjoyed taking the movie to youth film festivals, where young audiences continued to surprise us with honest and engaging discussions – a very gratifying experience for any filmmaker.

The most recent of these festivals were the Juniorfest in the Czech Republic, Rolan IFF in Armenia, Oulu IFF in Finland, and finally the Olympia IFF for Children and Young People in Greece. Of these festivals, we were unfortunately only able to take a larger team to the latter, our “entourage” including both main actors, Alix Bénézech and Florent Arnoult, and director Alex Lee, taking home two big awards (more on that later)! We are proud to announce that “La Vie Nous Appartient” won the “+Alti” prize of the Vittorio Veneto Film Festival! Our gratitude goes out to the festival, which made us feel very welcome throughout our stay, making sure that we were well fed and always had a glass of prosecco at hand when necessary. We would also like to once again thank our cast and crew, and everyone else involved in making this film a success! (more…)
